About Richard Storey
Hey, I am Richard D Storey, I am a poet of the New Formalism movement. My poetry's style is similar to old Victorian Romantic poetry. My influences are people like Lord Byron, Oscar Wilde and Edgar Allen Poe.
I am generally a written poet, however, I do do regular performances mainly around the Brighton and Hove Area. However, I sometimes perform in other areas, such as Chichester, on on occasion, London. To better understand my poetry, look at your own personal grievances in this world, and let them fill you up, before letting them out in a flurry of screams and that is pretty much what my poetry is, my own personal grievances in this world taking form of screams on paper.

Known Associates
I'm associated with several different groups within the poetry / artist world within the UK. One of them is Creative Future an organization for artists of various styles, like myself in the form of New "Neo" Formalist Poetry. Along with them I am linked to a group called Horseplay a group of poets led by Verity Spott, my friend and mentor, who regularly perform in the Brighton and Hove Area. I am also associated with Iodine Press a Brighton based printing press which has aided me in the publication of my work.
